Williams Grand Prix expert confirmed for Multicomp Conference Panel

Williams Grand Prix Engineering’s chief composites engineer, Brian O’Rourke has been confirmed as a panel member for Multicomp 2017, taking place on 14-15 June in Nottingham.

The conference is set to bring together researchers, designers, manufacturers and end-users to showcase the latest developments in hybrid composite solutions within high value sectors such as automotive, aerospace, rail and energy.

A panel session will take place on the first day of the conference where delegates will be able to address the panel on subjects such as the opportunities, challenges and trends of employing and joining multimaterials for lightweight structures.

“We’re really looking forward to this event and are pleased to announce Brian as a member of the panel,” stated Gemma Smith, NetComposites’ marketing and communications manager. “Brian has been with Williams since 1982 where he has gained experience in the design, analysis and manufacturing of composite materials. I’m sure his knowledge and experience will add to an already fantastic programme.”
