RTX recognises Norco with supplier award

RTX (formerly Raytheon Technologies) has recognised Norco Composites & GRP with a Premier Award for its performance in 2022 and overall excellence in ‘Collaboration & Customer Service’.

The Premier Award is an annual recognition platform under the RTX Performance+ programme, which recognise suppliers with superior performance and those who have provided exceptional value to RTX in one of the four key categories: Cost Competitiveness, Technology & Innovation, Business Management, and Collaboration & Customer Service.

Norco have been collaborating with leading flight simulator manufacturer Collins Aerospace (Now an RTX subsidiary) for over a decade on a variety of different flight simulator platforms. With a strong focus on collaborative design for manufacture in composites, Norco has assisted in the development of reliable cost-effective solutions.

In 2022, Norco proved its operational efficiency and commitment to customer service by delivering 14 flight simulators on time, achieving a 100% on-time delivery record. This accomplishment was a significant factor in Norco's receipt of the Premier Award.

“We have always enjoyed working collaboratively with the team at Collins,” stated Norco’s engineering director, Henry Nicholson Cole. “Their design team are very open to innovative approaches to improve their design, and they are very supportive of us as a supplier.”

The partnership between Norco and RTX has seen continual growth, with both companies focused on achieving mutual success through collaboration. This award further demonstrates the ongoing commitment of both parties to promote excellence in their operations.

Norco says it is optimistic about continuing to deliver exceptional customer service and collaboration strategies in the upcoming years. This Premier Award marks a significant milestone in their journey, serving as a motivation to consistently strive for excellence in all aspects of their operations.
