On 1st March, Matthias Rampf, CEO of the Rampf Group, will hand over the management of Rampf Eco Solutions GmbH & Co. KG in Pirmasens to Peter Barwitzki and Dr Christian Weber.

The family-owned company from Grafenberg, Germany is setting the course for the upcoming strategic development of the Group. As of 1st July, 2024, the three previously independent core competencies Eco Solutions, Polymer Solutions and Tooling Solutions, which specialise in polymers, will be merged into the new Rampf Advanced Polymers GmbH & Co. KG. The change in management at the Pirmasens site means that all three companies merged into the new unit will now be under a single management team.

“In preparation for the new company, the handover of responsibility to the two managing directors at this point in time was only logical and had been planned for a long time,” explained Matthias Rampf. “The merger will create a new company that will focus even more strongly on sustainability and in particular, significantly strengthen the Eco Solutions division, which specialises in the recycling of PET and polyurethane residues. For this, we will continue to rely on Pirmasens and the extensive expertise of the entire local team.”

The company currently employs 13 people at the Pirmasens site.

Editor's comment: Weather with you

Anyway, our landlord has deemed that with Spring now in the air, it’s time to turn off the heating and save money. This presents a challenge typing when I can’t feel my fingers.
