Harvey has worked in the composite industry for 32 years, including roles at Cytec Advanced Materials qualifying materials for aerospace applications, Gurit as formulated products manager and in Dubai for three years when working for Premier Composite Technologies managing large architectural projects in Saudi Arabia.

Mark Northey, managing director of Norco, is delighted Harvey has joined the team: “This appointment comes at an exciting time for Norco as we expand both our Composites and our GRP divisions. Andrew’s experience and knowledge of the industry will be invaluable and we have already seen an upturn in business enquiries in the short time Andrew has been with us.”

Harvey commented: “The main challenge for me is to identify and secure new business for the advanced composites business. This has so far involved investigating new and existing markets for composite structures, defining the market size, growth, main players and competitors with the aim of identifying opportunities where Norco can add value in terms of facilities, capabilities and expertise. I am really looking forward to contributing towards the continued growth of the Norco business.”
