JETCAM sees substantial revenue growth in 2022

JETCAM, manufacturer and supplier of CAD/CAM, nesting, and industry 4.0 IoT software, is celebrating the start of the new year off a 20% growth in annual revenue.

In 2022 the company gained successful opportunities for expanding its distribution of innovative nesting and automated software for sheet metal and composite manufacturing. Following little hindrance in its distribution throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, including a remote installation in Australia, JETCAM has maintained its commitment to providing global software support from staff across three different time zones.

The year saw further advancements in JETCAM’s software solutions, with the addition of new LDK security through a partnership with Thales. This change enabled customers to experience the latest software such as JETCAM Orders Controller by either USB or soft license leasing, which is expected to accelerate sales in 2023.

JETCAM Orders Controller fully automates the CAD importing and nesting processes, with simple drag and drop features deskilling the process, reducing the time from CAD file to NC code to minutes or seconds. With the addition of LDK soft licensing, JETCAM is offering a 60-day free trial for existing JETCAM Expert users. This allows users to experience the level of automation and third-party system integration that’s provided without the commitment of purchase.

Off the back of these successful ventures, JETCAM has begun its next mission of expanding its presence in the UK composites sector. This year, as the latest member of Composites UK, JETCAM will exhibit on the Composites UK pavilion at JEC World, where the company plans to challenge its software solutions through nesting benchmark comparisons.

“Since its foundation in 1986, JETCAM has remained at the forefront of nesting technology for both the sheet metal and composite manufacturing industries,” stated Martin Bailey, general manager of JETCAM. “The achievements we made throughout 2022 demonstrate that our customers see investment in software continuing to deliver savings, in terms of material efficiency, manpower and machine runtime. Automation and integration are key, with JETCAM products designed to slip seamlessly into production alongside existing ERP and MES systems.”

Editor's comment: Weather with you

My work office feels unusually cold. As I type this, the BBC weather says it’s 10˚C outside. Hmm, is that typical for the end of April? Anyway, our landlord has deemed that with Spring now in the air, it’s time to turn off the heating and save money. This presents a challenge typing when I can’t feel my fingers.
