JEC Forum DACH announces Startup Booster finalists

The main objective of JEC Forum DACH is to highlight the dynamic composites ecosystem in the DACH region. As part of this, and besides the comprehensive schedule of business gatherings and conferences, innovation and entrepreunership will be in the spotlight in Salzburg from 24-25 October as participants will have the chance to attend two key events, namely the JEC Composites Startup Booster and the AVK Innovation Awards.

Winners of both competitions will be announced during a dedicated ceremony at 5:00pm on 24^th October.

For the third time at JEC Forum DACH, all entrepreneurs, SMEs, startups and academic spinoffs building innovative advanced materials projects that are based in Germany, Austria or Switzerland (the DACH region) have been invited to participate.

Following the application process, five finalists have been selected to pitch their projects at the forum in front of a jury of experts, listed below, on 24^th October at 12.00pm at Imlauer Hotel.

Carbocon – Germany

CARBOCON is an independent service provider in the field of the innovative building material carbon reinforced concrete.

Fiberior – Germany

Fiberior’s mission is to revolutionise the production of fibre-thermoplastic composites with new manufacturing process. The goal is to significantly reduce the production costs of continuous fibre-reinforced composites so that the advantages of these materials can be used cost-effectively for our customers.

Holy Technologies – Germany

Holy Technologies is developing the world’s first carbon fibre technology that makes components fully upcyclable.

Plastformance – Germany

Based on two international patents PlastFormance designs, crafts and distributes injection-moulding compounds with unmatched physical properties.

Voidsy – Austria

Voidsy, a recent deep-tech startup, is engaged in the development and commercialisation of a highly innovative, photothermal tomography system.

JEC Forum DACH provides an excellent opportunity for suppliers and buyers from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to engage in extensive networking with industry peers during one-on-one business meetings, gatherings for lunch buffets and an Evening networking event in Salzburg.
