iSpecc says it continues to grow its distribution network with the appointment of Eastman Machine Company’s automated cutting machines.

Eastman produces a wide variety of advanced cutting machines which perform automated cutting of a multitude of materials. The company has produced cutting solutions for over 130 years, providing machinery with high reliability, precise cutting and advanced software solutions, increasing productivity for many processes. Standard and bespoke cutting equipment is available with a multitude of cutting heads and material handling options.

Eastman feeder systems efficiently introduce product to be cut and spreader attachments allow multiple layers to be evenly spread prior to cutting. The system can also be fitted with product labelling systems.

Eastman’s suite of intelligent controls and software solutions include Eastman cutPRO a dynamic operating system, patternPRO for design and efficient nesting of patterns to minimise waste, EasiSelect for fast selection processing and Digitiser to trace and record all parts.

iSpecc offers a variety of equipment and industrial services to the aerospace, automotive, energy, defence and advanced composites sectors with in-depth knowledge of capital plant including Eastman cutting systems, robotic production cells, industrial ovens, presses, hot drape formers, RTM equipment and advanced mould/tools.

iSpecc assists with capital plant design, specification, production process optimisation and procurement assistance. Their project management division offers professional implementation of capital plant installations whilst their consultancy offers real insight and market intelligence for infrastructure programming, return on investment analysis and advice on compliance to key legislation governing operation of capital plant with guidance on advanced controls for Industry 4.0 to increase productivity.

iSpecc says it will take the time to understand its customers’ process, production and quality targets and specify the optimal Eastman solution.

“We are really pleased to represent Eastman,” stated iSpecc managing director, Nigel Clifford. “They have an amazing heritage for engineering really robust machinery with advanced software solutions and they have an ethos of going the extra mile for customers which fits well with our approach.”

Trevor Stevenson, Eastman’s vice-president stated: “We are excited about the partnership with iSpecc for a number of reasons, including their ability to localise project management together with the technical and commercial skills needed to address a wide range of customer applications. We look forward to collaboratively growing our businesses.”
