Element to host testing and approvals seminar

April 16, 2018
Element to host testing and approvals seminar

Element will host its annual testing and approvals seminar on 23rd May 2018, at the Williams F1 Conference Centre, in Oxfordshire, UK.

Under the banner of “Regulatory Compliance 2018: putting your product onto the market”, this free, one-day seminar will address the latest compliance updates and give attendees the knowledge to successfully compete in global markets.

The event will focus on important current issues for the UK including changes to CE marking and major directive updates; information on international certification & approvals; and factors to consider when approaching product testing and certification.

In addition to presentations and a round-table Q&A discussion with industry leading experts, such as Steve Hayes (former chair of the European Union Association of Notified Bodies) and Simon Barrowcliff (chair of UK IEC Conformity Assessment Board and UK IECEE mirror committees, and chair of the UK ATEX Notified Body Group), there will be industry-specific breakout training sessions giving attendees the opportunity to discuss key areas of interest.

Topics will include CE marking, radio devices, explosive atmospheres, medical devices, the internet of things, international certification and global product approvals. The event will close with an exclusive tour of the Williams private collection of Grand Prix cars and memorabilia.

The seminar will be of interest to anyone looking to upgrade their product testing and certification process. Advance registration is required as spaces are limited.
