A new version of Anaglyph’s Laminate Tools (version 4.2) has been released. The Windows-based software integrates the design, analysis and manufacture of composite structures, and complements existing CAD systems and/or FEA environments, with native support for NASTRAN, ANSYS and ABAQUS, ensuring wide compatibility in the analysis of composite structures.

The new version introduces new features in the geometry, design, check and manufacture modules. Apart from better geometry translation, the most notable enhancements in this latest version are new and improved interfaces to Abaqus, Hyperworks, Nastran OP2, Ansys and SigmaNEST. The PlyMatch interface now allows ply placement inspection and deviation measurement. The software also now offers support for software based floating licences.
