The third International Composites Summit (ICS) has finally arrived. Taking place on September 6-7, at the Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes, ICS has become the premier platform for cost-effective and sustainable composites business in the UK.
The event brings together influential industry leaders and researchers, as well as forward-thinking innovators from across the composites sector. The forums will explore the latest themes and hot topics covering key sector challenges and opportunities. These include circularity, exploring strategic global opportunities, navigating the political landscape for manufacturing, and trade-focused panel comprising Q&A sessions with industry experts.
It is often said that variety is the spice of life, and this sentiment can be applied to what many tradeshows and conferences spin us every year. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great to meet old faces, catch up, press the flesh and recount fond memories, but these events have a real responsibility to provide fresh opportunities to meet new and potentially lucrative customers – the kind that they wouldn’t normally expect to see at these events. Opportunities that can help initiate healthy synergies between different manufacturing sectors.
