AMI has announced the programme for a brand-new Composites in Rail conference featuring DB, Norplex-Micarta, Siemens and more. The event takes place on 25-26 June at the Sofitel Kurfürstendamm in Berlin, Germany.

There are increasing demands on the rail industry to increase passenger numbers whilst reducing emissions and environmental impact. Composites in Rail comes at a key time as the industry explores options to achieve targets in the most cost-effective way, with composites having the ability to offer an end-to-end solution.

The two-day conference programme highlights the positive impact composites are already having on the industry, from infrastructure through to rolling stock. We hear from a range of experts across the supply chain including OEMs, network operators, manufacturers, suppliers, recyclers and representatives from European initiatives. The event examines how the differing properties of composites can create cost-effective, durable and lightweight solutions for the industry.

Alongside the insightful programme, there is the 10+ hours of dedicated networking breaks including the evening cocktail reception, taking place in the exhibition area.
